This position is responsible for the complete accurate and timely screening and initiations of all appeal requests submitted directly by applicants by carrying out the following duties:
Review all information included in assigned Appeal packets and determine eligibility of Appeal.
Requirements for this position are: Graduation from an accredited college or university with an Associate’s degree in Accounting Business, Finance, Public Administration, Political Science, or similar field preferred. A minimum of three (5) years relevant work experience can substitute degree.
A minimum of two (2) years of experience coordinating projects including customer/client service. Experience in real estate, housing, banking or public contract administration a plus.
Innovative problem solving skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to learn, apply and explain/train the requirements, policies and procedures of The Road Home Program. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook. Must be flexible; able to work nights and weekends as needed.

The Monitoring Analyst will conduct monitoring visits with ICF and sub-contractors for compliance with State, Federal, and Homeowner Program requirements with particular attention to HUD CDBG regulations. In addition, assure established policies, processes and procedures are followed in conjunction with daily operations through observation and monitoring activities. Perform regularly scheduled and random monitoring to ensure compliance with requirements as established by HUD. Gather program metrics; create a risks assessment, contingencies and mitigation for program and sub-contractor compliance.
Bachelor's Degree. Demonstrated experience in implementing and ensuring compliance with governmental and state directives and experience establishing project policies, processes and procedures across diverse service offerings. Experience implementing methodologies including periodic, scheduled, and random reviews and gathering pertinent metrics to aid management with decision making and devising plans for large scale reporting deliverables. Experience dealing with internal and external clients at all levels.
Proficiency with MS Office Suite. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Occasional travel required.

The Housing Advisor will be responsible for advising families through the full-life cycle of the LA Housing Program, (Offers continuing assistance to applicants as they work through rebuilding and relocation activities).
Requirements for this position are: Education - Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience - Two years of experience providing extensive public contact or customer service. A combination of education and relevant experience may also be considered.
Real estate, mortgage, banking, housing management, or interviewing experience a plus.
Ability to read, write and speak English. Proficiency in another foreign language is a plus.
Must have the ability to research, analyze, and resolve complex issues from initial homeowner meeting to final file closure.
Must be willing to commit to solving a target number of cases per week, per month.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, must have the ability to articulate details of the program in a manner that is understandable to a variety of groups in person and over the telephone.

These positions are responsible for advising families through the lifecycle of The Road Home Program. The QA/QC is the single point of contact and owns the QA review process to be used in evaluation all cases resolved by Advisors on the team within which QA advisor is embedded. The Advisor will review all cases within the guidelines utilized in Pre-Closing and Post-Closing, evaluate the resolution approach used by the advisor to determine if all issues are resolved as required prior to assigning the case and will provide trending information at weekly QA status meetings with Operations management on advisors and case types in order to develop metrics for each subject matter area.
The QA Advisor must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize work, and maintain confidentiality. The QA/QC Advisor must have knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, the basic elements of single family mortgage lending for acquisition and/or home improvement and best practices for customer service. The QA/QC Advisor must have the ability to read, write, and speak English; proficiency in Spanish or Vietnamese is desirable.
This position is located in Baton Rouge. Rental Application Advisor – Baton Rouge

These positions are responsible for advising families through the development cycle of the LA Rental Program within The Road Home. The responsibilities of Rental Application Advisors include helping families complete the application form, conducting face-to-face meetings to explain the program and answer questions describing program options, and offering technical assistance to the family in choosing the best program option for them.
The Rental Application Advisors must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize work, and maintain confidentiality. The Rental Application Advisor must have the ability to read, write, and speak English; proficiency in Spanish or Vietnamese is desirable.
